The Approved Arrangements for Accredited Persons (Classes 1 to 8) course replaces the Quarantine Approved Premises Classes 1 to 8 Accreditation and Re-accreditation training.

Quarantine Approved Premises (QAPs) and Compliance Agreements (CAs) automatically converted to Approved Arrangements (AAs) on 16 June 2016 when the Biosecurity Act 2015 came into effect replacing the Quarantine Act 1908.

Biosecurity Awareness

DO NOT ENROL in this program if you are also enrolling in Approved Arrangements for Accredited Persons (Classes 1 to 8) as that program includes this Biosecurity Awareness unit.

This unit has been developed to help the widest possible group of people in the imported cargo logistics industry to understand biosecurity issues and how their knowledge of such issues can reduce biosecurity risks to Australia.

This online course provides formal Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry accreditation for specialised biosecurity roles.

For further information about the Biosecurity Awareness course accreditation validity and requirements, refer to the department’s website.
